What kind of savings can I expect as a member of the PPO Value Plan?

When a member visits a participating PPO Value Plan dentist, Delta Dental provides diagnostic and preventive services at no charge. An average fee for one adult cleaning, one periodic oral exam and one set of bitewing x-rays is over $170; the PPO Value Plan covers two exams, two cleanings and one set of bitewing x-rays per year. Delta also covers many other preventive and diagnostic services such as sealants and fluoride for children. Please refer to your plan description for more information.

Additionally, members enjoy a savings of 20 - 30% for all restorative services and other basic services (known as Type 2 care) and prosthodontic and other services (known as Type 3 care) when care is received from Delta Dental PPO Value Plan network dentists. Savings for fillings, crowns, root canals and gum surgery services may vary depending upon individual dentists' fees for a particular service.

The annual premium for Harvard students is $233 for an individual plan and $583 for a family plan.
