When to Make an Appointment
It is our goal to provide you with top-quality care so you remain "at your best” while at Harvard. It is important to recognize any physical or emotional problems and take care of them before they persist and become larger issues. For instance, you may notice a change in your diet, sleeping habits or ability to concentrate. If you experience any physical or emotional concerns, consider contacting HUHS to make an appointment.
You may also schedule an appointment to take care of any non-urgent medical concerns including routine physicals or screenings.
How to Make an Appointment
HUHS makes every effort to accommodate those who wish to be seen on any given day for a medical or mental health concern.
- To schedule:
- 20-minute medical appointment
- Mental Health Initial Telephone Assessment – New Patients Only
- Mental Health Medication Follow- Up with your current prescriber
Use our Online Appointment System or contact the clinic directly during regular business hours.
- To schedule a routine or non-urgent appointment with an HUHS clinician, please call the clinic directly during regular business hours.
- To schedule an appointment with a specialist, please contact your Primary Care Provider for a referral.
- You may elect to receive an email reminder 24 hours before your appointment.

You may also wish to speak with a clinician to answer questions or concerns prior to making an appointment.
Cancelling an Appointment
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of a scheduled appointment, or the student will incur a charge. You may cancel any HUHS appointment by calling the department or through the Online Appointment System.
Prescription Refills
If you need to renew a prescription you are advised to call your clinician or care team at least 48 hours in advance to allow time to process the request.
