A regimen of brushing your teeth twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste, flossing daily, eating a balanced diet, and visiting your dentist regularly can help you maintain a healthy, attractive mouth throughout your life. Regular dental checkups and professional cleanings are important to maintaining healthy teeth and gums and for diagnosing and treating dental problems.
For all your oral healthcare needs, HUHS Dental Services offers a full range of dental services for patients from six months of age through the life span. These services are provided for your convenience on a fee-for-service basis. If you have Delta Preferred Option Plus insurance, the Clinic will bill your dental plan.
Students: Please note that HUHS Dental Services does not participate in the Delta PPO Value Plan for students. Please see our Preventive Care Package offer. Any additional dental services needed by students will be provided at a discount of 10 percent off of the HUHS Dental services’ customary fees.

Dentists and hygienists are available by appointment. If you anticipate the need to miss an appointment, please notify the Clinic at least 24 hours in advance so other patients can take advantage of the time. Due to the high demand for dental services, as well as the cost associated with "no shows," patients who do not show for a scheduled appointment will be charged $25 per unit of missed time (one unit = 15 minutes). Example: No-show for 45-minute appointment = $75 charge.
If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify the Dental Service as soon as possible (preferably at least 24 hours in advance) at 617-495-2063 opt. 3 to help us maintain access to services.
