After Your Child is Born

Lactation Support and Breast Pumps
Breastfeeding is the most natural and nutritious way to encourage your baby's development. Human milk provides unmatched immunity against bacteria and viruses, thus protecting newborns from a host of diseases.

A breast pump enables you to express milk when you are away from your baby so that your breastfeeding pattern is not interrupted. You chill and save the breast milk for later use. Breast pumping is not meant to replace breastfeeding. Rather, it is intended to complement and enhance breastfeeding during occasional periods of separation. Breast pump rental prices are kept as low as possible, making this service very affordable. For more information, call the Obstetrics & Gynecology Nurse at 617-495-2068.
