All HUHS patients and those with an active Harvard ID can receive vaccination by scheduling through the HUHS Patient Portal. Same-day appointments will be available, but advanced booking is highly recommended.
- We offer the Fluarix vaccine, which is latex-free, preservative-free, and egg-based.
- Flu vaccine is given in the upper arm; please wear clothing to your appointment that permits easy access to your arm.
- If you are unable to receive your vaccination while sitting up, please schedule a vaccination appointment with your PCP team.
- FluZone High Dose vaccine is available to patients age 65 and older.
- We are unable to offer flu vaccination to children; please schedule a vaccination through your pediatrician.
NOTE: Students are required to receive the flu vaccine each year. Noncompliance will result in an inability to drop/add classes for the Fall semester and register for Spring semester classes. Registration holds will be applied to student accounts on Friday, September 25.
